= Happy Knitters Group =

For years now the knitting community of Harlaxton Neighbourhood Centre have been knitting Trauma Teddies, gloves, scarves and beanies for the homeless and much needed premmie baby clothes.

At a meeting recently, we decided to get this group of knitters to come together at the Centre, so instead of knitting by yourself at home come along and enjoy the company of other knitters. Everybody is welcome, afternoon tea will be provided and for a gold coin donation-that's a pretty good offer.

This group will be knitters only but if you crochet we will make an exception and you can come too.

If you have always wanted to learn to knit, don't be afraid, I'm sure there are some teachers who would love to show you how.

This group does not have to exclusively make teddies, hats and baby clothes, if you are working on a project of your own bring that along your most welcome to just come and knit.

A prize will be given to the 25th member we recruit to the group.
